As I lie on my bed
And reflect back on my life,
I realized there was a time
When things weren’t just going right.
The going even got tougher,
The memories cut me from within,
Sure cut like a knife.

The days seemed long,
The nights seemed even longer.
Thought I was a goner,
Yet I grew stronger.
Thought I’d have to lift myself from my misery,
But that wasn’t the way it was meant to be,
Coz b4 I knew what was happening,
I saw a light shining
N all I saw was you in front of me.

Happiness is what you gave me,
U making me feel special was all I could see.
To be my happy self again,
Thought I’d had to go a 100 miles.
But then again I was wrong,
Coz u became d reason behind my smiles.

There was once a time
When everything around me seemed grey.
No colours filled my life,
Till u came along and showed me the way.
A brighter life I lead now,
N it’s all because of you.
You made my life as colourful as u,
N I can do nothing but say thankyou.
